The historic Palace Hotel celebrated its 100 year anniversary in 2009. On December 15, 1909, the Palace Hotel re-opened its doors, completely rebuilt after the devastation of the 1906 earthquake of San Francisco. For 100 years, the iconic Palace Hotel has remained the landmark hotel in San Francisco.
The Palace Hotel is centrally located in the heart of the San Francisco, across the street from the Montgomery Street BART Station and just blocks away from Union Square, Chinatown, the Financial District and the Moscone Convention Center.

A credit card number is required at the time of reserving your room. Hotel accommodations and rates are based upon availability and are valid until Friday, February 12, 2009 , at which time they are subject to change. Hotel rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 14.065%) and are not included in the rate. This discounted hotel room rate is only available through InfoWorld and Open Source Business Conference.
Reservations may be changed or canceled until 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date without penalty. Cancellations received less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date will be charged one-night's room and tax.

Getting To/From The Hotel
San Francisco International Airport (Code SFO) is an approximate 25-minute drive away from the hotel. The taxi cost for transportation from SFO to the hotel is $40-60. Oakland International Airport (Code OAK) is an approximate 35-minute drive away from the hotel. The taxi cost for transportation from OAK to the hotel is $50-65.
The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train runs between SFO and San Francisco every 15 minutes. Board the Dublin/Pleasanton train at the BART station; exit the train at the Montgomery Street Station. The Palace Hotel is located at the corner of Market and New Montgomery Street, directly across from the train station. The total cost is $6. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes from SFO.
The SuperShuttle is also available between San Francisco Airport and The Palace Hotel. Located on the 2nd level of the airport, SuperShuttle accepts walk-in reservations, and the cost is $18 per person one way. To take the SuperShuttle back to the airport, please visit The Palace Hotel Concierge Desk to make a reservation.

- Take Hegenburger North to U.S. Route 880 North to Interstate 80 Bay Bridge.
- Take the first exit Fremont Street.
- Turn left on Howard Street.
- Turn right on 3rd Street.
- Turn right on Market Street, then take an immediate right on New Montgomery Street.
